Dimitri Rastoropov is a composer, artist, music teacher, and arts professional. He was born in Latvia, studied in the St Petersburg Conservatory in Russia, Lancaster University in England. He has written numerous compositions for soloists, ensembles, and orchestra; written music and designed and sound for films, games, and applications; taught composition, guitar, and piano privately and in music schools; and worked in administrative and marketing positions within the arts.

Dimitri’s music and art is often inspired by the concept of organic repetition, but also works with aspects of spirituality and formalism.
